Blood Clot

Got back from county hospital last night. 12 hour ordeal and it still isn't over.
I've been having pain in my leg for a couple of weeks. It started as a muscle pain in my inner thigh, then shifted to my calf. But the pain was different in the calf, and was swelling. So I went to the walk-in clinic. They prescribed me some muscle medication and gave me an option to go get an ultrasound done to check for a blood clot. The leg was responding well to the medication, so I went about life for a week or so. Still got the ultrasound done to be sure on Wednesday.
Yesterday morning around 10 AM, I got a call from the Clinic telling me to go to the ER immediately. "It's not a blood clot, but we can't say over the phone". So I go down there thinking it must be a tumor or something, only to find out someone over there is a nimrod and it is, indeed, a blood clot. I received a painful shot in the abdomen of lovenox. They sent me back to the clinic to see if they could prescribe me medication for it. They don't deal with that type of thing, so I went to another place that recommended I go to the county hospital and apply for coverage. Which is an hour away in heavy freeway traffic. I first stopped back by the ER and they told me the same thing. So I headed down to the county where I spent 6 or 7 hours. Had to sit in a waiting room, surrounded by screaming kids and sick people all night. Received two more shots in the abdomen. Only needed one shot, but they couldn't find a syringe with the right amount of dosage I needed. Their pharmacy closes early as hell for some odd reason, so I have to go down there bright and early this morning through all that heavy traffic to get more abdomen shots and pills. I'm going to have to keep getting abdomen shots daily, twice a day for a few more days and stay on this medication until at least April.
I also think I'm finally catching the flu bug. To pile more on that, they said the medication I'm required to take doesn't counter-act with any over the counter medication except maybe tylenol. So if the flu bug hits hard, I won't be able to take anything to help the sickness go down. And if that isn't the icing on the cake, then I can't imagine what is.
Terrible day, and the shitstorm has barely even begun.
