At Close Range is a great movie with an amazing cast. It tells the true life story of The Whitewood Gang, a group of tractor thieves and murderers in mid west PA. Christopher Walken is the father of Sean Penn, Brad Whitewood Sr and Jr respectively. Sean Penn gets involved, despite his mother and grandmothers warnings, with the crimes. It does not end sweetly, needless to say. Its actually a tragic but interesting and fascinating movie. The camera angles, cinematography, and symbolism are awesome, and I find something new everytime I watch it, and the first time I saw the movie was in 1988 as a kid. I dont want to say much, in case someone who reads this wants to see it, but it is seriously worth your time. I would love to hear someone else's point of view on it.
