The bummer about this is picking Denver might result in my first wrong pick of the postseason.  Can't pick the cheats over my Broncos, no matter the stakes or how much of a favorite they are to win. |

I would pick Denver. They played a bad game against Steelers. NE is not nearly as good this year as they normally are. Denver is at home, has a crushing defense and no matter what the idiots said about Manning last week he was super sharp. I didn't see him throw a bad ball. The wind was constantly at 20 mph and swirling. In several camera shots the entire goal posts were shaking violently. The wind has to be strong for that. Those incomplete passes were 100 percent on target and dropped. That shouldn't happen to that extent again. Plus, that was the first game Peyton has played in a while and the first in a LONG time at full strength. He should be back closer to game shape and speed this week.
Belicheat will probably keep the game close, but unless Denver chokes they are the more talented team at home.
I firmly believe that if Carolina doesn't choke also and does meet NE... they will crush them. They are outclassed at every position including QB this year in a matchup with NE. I've watched every snap of every Carolina game this year and several of NE's games... I'm more confident in that matchup than the NFC championship. Arizona can beat anybody left. I consider this week in a way Carolina's SB especially if NE wins. Denver presents more of a challenge with that defense.
