Yeah, even Harris said it was messed up and he'd have done the same thing.
It is what it is... Cam will keep learning that to be on that stage... you are ALWAYS on that stage - good or bad.
Not real fond of Talib... but I wasn't in NE either lol.
Now everyone is piling on Manning. If I got investigated for every time I pulled a sophomore prank like putting my butt in somebody's face... I wouldn't have time to eat.
Oh, and notice Flair in that picture is demonstrating Brady's 'size'.
Pretty odd how it seems like every big-name athlete in all of pro sports is involved in sexual assault allegations of some sort. The whole Winston rape accusation actually reminded me of that crap Manning had to go through way back in college. I had completely forgotten about it up until the Winston accusation. But I did my homework on this (again).
Manning is a jokester, and I have no doubt that he jokingly mooned his teammate while getting a physical. To begin, her story immediately loses credibility, because she changed her story from Peyton Manning mooning her, to Peyton Manning pinned her down against her will and rubbed his dick, balls and asshole on her face. Yeah, sorry. R.I.P. credibility. Then a "witness" came out and repeated her new claims, but mysteriously never showed up to be questioned under oath. The judge ordered a gag clause on both Manning and his accuser until the trial could take place, but apparently Manning said something about it when a reporter was asking questions, and he ended up losing before ever going to trial and had to pay 300,000 dollars to the woman as long as she agreed to leave the University of Tennessee. Which she did, and to me, that is odd behavior. You claim you were pinned down and sexually assaulted by this horrible human being. You instantly made it public and are seeking to destroy his name, but by technicality you are awarded 300 grand and are kicked out of the school where you were apparently assaulted, and you're okay with that? You went this far, don't you want to go through with it all and prevent this monster from assaulting another woman again? Yeah... I also love how the media decided to bring this garbage back to the surface 13 years later, and oddly enough, one day after he won the Super Bowl. Gee, what a coincidence.
The only new tidbit of information that I've seen from the recent articles are rumors that the head athletic directors at Tennessee asked the woman if she could blame it on a random black athlete instead, in order to protect Manning's name. According to the rumor, the athletic directors already had a black athlete picked out for her to blame it on. Oh baby how convenient is it that this new piece of racist information arises during a time when racial tension in America is at the top of the bar? Come on, guys. How fishy does this sound...
Woman: Peyton Manning assaulted me sexually.
Athletic director: Can't you just blame it on a black guy? We already have one picked out for you.
And now it's time for my final thought: I mentioned there is an unusually high amount of sexual assault allegations in pro-sports, typically involving high-profile athletes. I know I've discredited some in this post, but I'm sure there are some that are true. But the fact is that so many women are playing "the girl who cried wolf" game, so you can't blame anyone for being skeptical. If these accusers could actually face a punishment or prison time for false accusations, I guarantee we'd see the numbers in allegations drop. And as far as the media bringing this up to the surface and adding their own ingredients to the story, they should be imprisoned as well. But as it is, defamation of character is not a crime, and can only be settled in a civil suit. So as long as there are women out there who cry wolf, we're stuck with "he said, she said" and skepticism.
