I couldn't quite believe it, 'cause this is what I read on wwe.com.

As first reported on WWE Mobile, WWE has come to an agreement on the release of Road Warrior Animal (Joe Laurinaitis) as of today June 6, 2006. We wish Joe the best in all future endeavors.

It amazes me that WWE never used the Road Warriors better. It's like they were completely oblivious to the fact that the fans hold them in the same high esteem as Hogan, Flair and Austin. Animal should have been given at least a U.S. Title or Intercontinental run.

Yeah, that would have been cool to see Road Warrior Animal get a title shot for the U.S. Title, Intercontinental Title or even the ECW Title, WWE Title or World HeavyWeight Title.

It seems funny that they bring guys like Kizarny in for less then a month to wrestle 1 or 2 matches, just to release him without giving him a chance to go for any 1 of the 5 titles or get a partner to go for the tag titles.

I would have loved to see Animal get some title shots. He has done a lot for the business.

Has anyone else here been pulling for Animal's son James Laurinaitis - Baby Animal? I watched him play football for Ohio State as much as possible. He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams and now starts for them at LB.

I picked up a couple of his game-used jersey cards last year from his college days. I spent too much money on them, but I had to have them
