We all know there are rankings for every division. Some say Takanori Gomi is the greatest Lightweight. Some say Georges St. Pierre is the greatest Welterweight. Some say Anderson Silva is the greatest Middleweight. Shogun is the greatest light heavweight and Fedor / Randy are the best heavyweights. But who is the best of the best?
My pick goes to Anderson Silva. This man has proven me wrong way too many times. I will never put money against him. I didn't think he'd have a chance against Rich Franklin. I thought Franklin would walk right through him in the first round. Turns out Anderson Silva gave Rich Franklin a bigger beating than I thought Franklin would give to Silva. Not only that... He beat him twice.... Dominating EVERY opponent in the UFC. He made Chris Leben look like a little girl in his debut. I'm already hearing match ups against guys WAAAY bigger than Anderson. He's fighting Dan Henderson in March who's a beast at 185. If Dan doesn't beat Anderson, I don't think anyone will...
