I could write a 2,000 page book about how much I love The Doors.
The poetry is a force to be reckoned with. No other musicians or poets in the history of... music... or... poetry... have even dwelled within the shadow of the mind of Jim Morrison.. His poetry is amazing. And the music to go along with the words he speaks.,My God, it's just amazing. The Doors even created their own style of music, called dark poetry. The amazing, low tune voice of Jim Morrison. And the eerie and psychedelic keyboarding of Ray Manzarek in it's own way formed a whole new type of music and sound. The guitaring of Robbie Krieger fits perfectly with the rendition of Morrison and Manzarek, same with the drumming of John Densmore. In my mind, I couldn't fathom the thought of a more perfectly pieced together rock group. Here's my personal definition.
