Yeah! That's one of my favorite songs of all time!!! "Countin' flowers on the wall that don't bother me at all Playin solitaire till' dawn with a deck of 51 Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain Kangaroo don't tell me... I've nothin' to do" And that's without googling the lyrics I was listening to Born Free by Kid Rock... not a big KR fan but it's a decent song.

I haven't heard that song by the Statler Brothers in quite some time. I had to borrow my Dad's CD, because I had heard it playing, and used it to put them on my iPod. Forgot about the Statler Brothers! They are awesome.

If you like them, the Oak Ridge Boys are awesome too... pretty much the same sound and quality.

Ha! That song is awesome! My grandpa was really into music like this, and bluegrass. He had a bluegrass band and was pretty famous around town. He'd play at the bars, and they'd always make him play 'House of the Rising Sun' because he played it so well. I never got to see him play in the bars, since I was so young, but he could play guitar really well. He'd play songs like these all the time.

I bet that was awesome to hear him do that stuff.
I've been listening to this all day trying to learn it. Me and Marii are playing around trying to make a duet arrangement out of it. Freddie wasn't just a vocal genius... this song is amazingly written and incredibly difficult to master.

That's a good one. That guy was full of talent. I'm pretty sure he played the piano for Queen in a lot of their songs. He played Bohemian Rhapsody live, I know that for sure. A great performance.

He did play a lot of the piano. I saw a special on him the other day and can you believe the band said he always felt like he wasn't good enough on the piano... I wish I was that kind of "not good enough" at anything I rank him right up there with Brian Wilson in the musical genius category.

He's definitely up there, Robert Plant (actually, all of Zeppelin was very talented), Jim Morrison, John Lennon are some that come to mind.

This guy is pure talent, as well. One of my favorites. Brilliant lyricist and an excellent guitarist.
