Jason, I love your thinking... if you combine the teams of Denver and Dallas then Miami will be no match for them all ;D
Ha... allow me to astound you all with my amazingly inaccurate predictions...
Eastern Conference:
1) Chicago Bulls 8) Indiana Pacers
4) Orlando Magic 5) Atlanta Hawks
2) Miami Heat 7) Philadelphia 76ers
3) Boston Celtics 6) New York Knicks
1) Chicago Bulls 5) Atlanta Hawks
2) Miami Heat 3) Boston Celtics
1) Chicago Bulls 2) Miami Heat
1) Chicago Bulls
Western Conference:
1) San Antonio Spurs 8) Memphis Grizzlies
4) Oklahoma City Thunder 5) Denver Nuggets
2) Los Angeles Lakers 7) New Orleans Hornets
3) Dallas Mavericks 6) Portland Trail-Blazers
1) San Antonio Spurs 4) Oklahoma City Thunder - Sorry J... I just think it's a bad matchup for the Nuggets - I hope I'm wrong for you.
2) Los Angeles Lakers 3) Dallas Mavericks
1) San Antonio Spurs 3) Dallas Mavericks
1) San Antonio Spurs
1) San Antonio Spurs 1) Chicago Bulls
Your 2010-2011 World Champion San Antonio Spurs
Derrick Rose is ridiculous... He singlehandedly beat the Pacers today.

Pff. The Heat will be no match for either team I pick for the west. My early pick at the beginning of the season was Dallas/Miami, but Denver has surprised the hell out of me, and I can hope! How 'bout NOLA beating LA.

I didn't know till you told me but it's OK I guess... we don't pull for the Hornets around here, but I don't pull for LA either. As long as the Hornets never win the Title I'm cool with it I quit for the day after the Spurs blew it. They won't get out of that series without Ginobili... and maybe not even then now that they lost the advantage. It's as bad a matchup or worse than Denver has with OC...

Denver led almost the entire game against OKC. A bad call probably cost the Nuggets the game, too. I can handle a hard fought loss, but a controversial one is VERY tough to swallow.

I only caught the last quarter and a half but there were two horrible calls against the Nuggets that probably cost them the win.
The foul and technical on Felton was totally wrong. First - the guy slid under him and should have got the foul. Second - the new T-Foul rule that was called on Felton is the one where players cannot raise their arms up in a questioning motion to the officials.
That's what they called on Felton and that is NOT what he did. He was trying to explain to the official that the other player slid under him. (Which is what happened anyway). That is what players are supposed to do. If the coach questions an official like that it will be a technical. The players are the ones who are supposed to get clarification from the refs. We were taught that in high school and before. Stupid new rule and an even dumber interpretation of it at a much too crucial time.
The other which, I'm guessing, is the one you are talking about was the missed goal tending call. That was ridiculous and by rule should have been reviewed. It would have been quickly overturned as the dude broke most of the above rim rules in the same play. As soon as he was in the net it should have been over, but then they let him put it back in too, in the cylinder... through the freakin net!
It ticks me off when officials do crap like that in any sport.
And that's the end of my rant ;D

That's the one I was referring to. The last :40 seconds or so when OKC took the lead with that missed call. I was getting ALL excited with how fair the NO and LA game was. But, oh well. Hopefully Denver can bounce back in game 2!

The Spurs game was called horribly too... but it wasn't unfair like the Nuggets game... just stoooopidly called for both teams. It made it too ugly to watch almost. They called a foul on anything that moved. They even called one on Kevin McHale and he was announcing

Did they, really?? I missed that game, it was on a bit early, for me. I caught some highlights, I should say lowlights. It might just be the wake up call the Spurs need to get back to their winning ways. They're one of the top teams I want to see win a championship. I really like Dallas, too, but Mark Cuban REALLY makes it hard to root for them.

I like him better than most owners of sports teams. I don't think I could live with him though... but it might be because he acts too much like me ;D Trust me you missed NOTHING in the Spurs game. They led the whole way then went "Here have this win!" with about a minute left. I hope Manu comes back soon but I fear the worst. I don't get nearly as upset about it as the football though, since my basketball teams have like 10 titles in the past decade counting the Spurs and the ACC. It's nice to have so many that you lose track. Man it hurt to see Carolina get beat by K#$#% (I can't WON'T type it). It could have been anybody else dang it.
