Please share any pictures or stories you have of trips to baseball games. Minor league is welcomed also. Since my Mom has me hooked on going to Turner Field... I'll use this thread to share some of my pictures and memories of our trips to the home of the Braves. Here are a few of us having fun at the Braves vs Diamondbacks in late August.

That is so neat! Did the Braves win the game you went to? They are my wild card pick for the World Series. I'll bet they go all the way and take out the Yankees. Oh, and they all look like imposters.

The Braves won that game 1-0. Tim Hudson pitched a shut out and Alex Gonzalez hit a solo HR. The latest games we attended were against the Marlins. We caught the whole series. The Braves lost in 12 innings in game one. In game 2 Brian McCann and Dan Uggla hit 3 run HRs. Game 3 was tight until Alex Gonzalez hit a 3 run HR. We were excited to have seen 3 - 3 run homers by Atlanta! I have so many pictures to work on right now - tons from the Braves games and even more from our Florida trip. I like some of them a lot so I'll post more here from time to time. This picture is of Derek Lowe vs the Nationals in 2010. He passed 1,500 strike outs that night with a career-high 12 K's. I didn't manipulate or add anything to the photo, I just made it black and white except for Lowe... I love that technique and it makes him stand out quite nicely.

I like that technique, too. Very cool!
Glad you got to see the Braves win the series. I only went to two MLB games in my life. Both games were between the Rockies and Angels. Rockies won the first game, a few years later, the Angels won the second. It's been a good ten years.
I said it before, but the Braves are my upset pick for the World Series.

It would be cool if you could see the Rockies when they come to Cali more often. Our local team is a Rockies farm team - [[The Asheville Tourists]]. They play about 35 miles from here. I keep meaning to check them out but stuff happens.
Last year I picked up a playoff ticket online from their site. Problem was after I drove up there I found out they didn't make the playoffs. That ticked me off a bit but I'd still like to get up there to a game. The season is over this year but if I can get up there next year I'll try to get you something - like a hat or something cool.
The Braves have the talent, but it might be too raw this season. They have a TREMENDOUS upside. The young bullpen is being talked about as potentially the greatest of all time. Kimbrel is destroying the rookie saves record and won't fall very far from THE record. Venters and the rest are nothing to sneeze at either. Freddie Freeman SHOULD win ROY at 1st base and Jason Heyward has scary potential.
This is probably the last ride for Philly as they are just old... still good... but old. The Bravos can get hot in the playoffs, but they are having a lot of trouble just keeping the wild card at the moment. I'd love to see them win a post season series for sure. I know it is said way too much, but I can't wait for next year!
BTW - I got some great shots of Kimbrel and Venters. I'll get them uploaded soon.

That actually reminds me, throughout his career, I followed Jim Edmonds and routed for him wherever he went. Was overly thrilled when the Cards won the World Series with him. I think he was the MVP? Anyway, when I played baseball, I owe whatever success I had in the outfield to him. I appreciate the invitation, but I'm gonna pull a Peyton Manning and head to Denver.
