when i played baseball, it was horrible, i was afriad of the ball Me too actually... I loved to pitch, but I didn't want to be anywhere near the infield where people hit the ball. Grounders were always a pain when I played out field. It was only high school ball, and the fields were piss poor. Grass was lumpy. Practicing and even in games it sucked, because at any moment it could hit a lump of grass and change direction. Sometimes aim right at yo face!

Outfield was what I was best at on defense. I could track down and catch anything. I also excelled at running the bases. If I ever got on first I usually could score... the problem was that I couldn't hit. ;D

We hit Turner Field for the Braves vs Astros last Friday (8-3-12). It was Star Wars night too, so that was a bonus. Braves won 4-1 so which made it even better. I'm broke but we have to catch Chipper a few last times this year! It was Tim Hudson's 100th win as a Brave so we even got to see a bit of history.

Damn. Those are some excellent photos. Glad your Braves are doing well. Personally, I don't know what's worse: Feeling that your team is consistently robbed with officiating (Nuggets) or knowing your team just legitimately stinks (Rockies)

Hey, I support the Panthers, and the Bobcats by hitting a game when I can... but it is a lot more fun when the team wins and that happens waaaay more often at the Braves games ;D

We got down to the ATL to catch Chipper's number retirement. It was a plus that the Bravos won both games against the Diamondbacks. Here are the pictures and the proof ;D

Chipper is awesome. I remember watching him play as a kid, and rooting for the Braves to beat the Yankees in the 90's. Can't remember which World Series it was, though. 96? I can't help but think of JFK with Chipper riding in the car like that. u bettr duck bro.
