This thread is probably past due... but I'm sure everyone has their thoughts on where Manning will end up. Personally, I'm just glad he's not going to the Jets. I've already had to deal with Jason Taylor wearing that uniform... I just couldn't bear seeing (in my opinion) one of the top three quarterbacks of all time playing for the enemy. As a Dolphins fan AND a Manning fan... it would be unacceptable. As far as where he does end up: I'm kind of glad it's not Washington as that team is not very solid. Of course I'd love to see him in Miami and true fans, that have stuck by our team even through the one win year, deserve a quarterback better than what we've had since Marino left. Denver, Miami and Arizona (the 3 teams I feel have the best shot) would instantly become Super Bowl contenders with a healthy Peyton Manning. All three have solid defenses - Miami has the better talent on offense with a HOF caliber LT in Jake Long along with Bush and Marshall. Denver gets the nod on coaching and front office. And Arizona may just be the favorite because of Manning's relationship with Whisencantspellahunt and a certain HOF bound receiver. I'm happy that it's down to these teams as I can easily pull for winner. I'm a little sad that Denver is considering trading Tebow as I think that he'd benefit GREATLY by playing behind Peyton for 3 or 4 seasons... but if he lands in Jacksonville it might be a perfect fit as those fans are his fans and wanted him all along. Where would I go if I was Peyton... as somebody who is already being considered as the anti-LeBron for the way he handled his departure from Indy... I'd do everything I could land back in Tennessee. Those are his fans and that would be his town... it would be the only place he could fit in as perfectly as he did in Indy... but I'm a hopeless romantic and Peyton is a legendary warrior... so don't expect him to do what I'd do... Hey, a dude can dream can't he?

I would LOVE to see Manning in Denver, but if it means having to trade Tebow, don't do it. He's got two good years left in him, should Denver really trade away their potential franchise quarterback who will only be in his 3rd season next year? I don't think so. Sign Manning, keep Tebow and I'm on board in a heartbeat. Also, I like how he has a Florida tan in that Dolphin uniform.

I think Miami is out... Manning wouldn't meet them in Miami and he wouldn't talk to the owner. Coach Philbin had to fly to Indy just to see him for the Fins. Now I hear he is asking for a 3 year 65 million dollar deal. I don't want any part of that and a team would have to cut a lot of salary to be able to touch it.
As far as Tebow goes... I would love to see him stay in Denver, but I believe if they get Manning they will hose Jax out of quite a few picks for Tim.

That is a lot of money. I've heard from a lot of sports analysts that Denver has the perfect amount of cap room to fit Manning in. Others have said that Denver was the first place he went to, to talk about contracts. Meaning he chose Denver before any other, so Denver has to be the favorite to pick him up. I don't think he'll go to an NFC team, though. I think I remember something about the Manning brothers not wanting to be in the same conference. It's why Eli is a Giant and not a Charger. Looks like it's come down to my team and Chris's team. Just keep Tebow, please!

They aren't keeping Tebow... this was Elway's genius plan to get him out without making the fanbase go insane. Jacksonville wants him bad and you guys will get some good picks for him. There's no way he'll stay in Denver now though.
You will have the best of everything if Manning stays healthy. The only weakness of Fox (imo) is running an offense. Manning will DEFINITELY be doing that for him. And as you've seen the defense will be just plain nasty!
Again congrats! I'm really glad he went to a team I can pull for... you have no idea how happy I am he's not in NY.

I can imagine how happy you are. I know you were thoroughly bummed when Favre went to New York. At least it wasn't Peyton, of all people.
I am really gonna miss Tebow. I will forever be a fan, no matter where he goes. But as a BRONCOS fan, too, a trade does make sense. He has a lot of potential value with what he did for us, last year. I wish him nothing but the best and will only route against him when I HAVE to route against him.
There's a small rumor going around Colorado that Pat Bowlen (Denver owner) is dying, and his biggest wish was to get Manning. I hope it isn't true, as I love Pat Bowlen and what he did for the Broncos all these years.

That would suck... I hope that's one rumor that is bogus.

Apparently he's been sick over the last year. He's been a great owner and if it's true, it's going to be a terrible loss for this organization. He is only 67, at the moment.
